Warning: This Entry May Be It-Girl Overload Speaking of fashion It girls, how did Lou Doillon get to be everywhere? There was that fashion spread in Elle a few months ago, and now she's in the fall A.P.C. ads. The daughter of 60s It girl Jane Birkin, Doillon is very leggy, very horsey and very French, and getting famous for her style (although I hear she acts as well.) She's a good match for A.P.C., though, who have always been about insouciant, understated cool. Speaking of A.P.C., they're selling a wool toggle coat they're calling "Charlotte's coat." It's clearly an homage to the female lead of Sofia Coppola's Lost in Translation, who wandered wan and lost around Tokyo. Coppola, after all, is a famous fan of the French brand. Posted by Kat
