Random Picture Entry: Elizabeth Hart of Psychic Ills

Over the weekend we caught Psychic Ills at a very late show at the Knitting Factory (along with Electroputas, Telepathe, and Vizusa) and the show only confirmed our love of their latest record, Dins, out on the Social Registry. Their mix of shoegazer psychedelia, Suicide-inspired spooky post-punk and noise theatrics reminiscent of early Sonic Youth is perfect for the witchy punk in all of us. And speaking of witchy punks, their bass player, Elizabeth Hart, is not only top-notch as a musician, but is incredibly stylish as well - a sort of Stevie Nicks thing going on with plenty of elegant reserve to spare.
