Dirty Librarian Chains

Dirty Librarian Chains have been popping up in the credits of some of our favorite fashion magazines, but it's hard not to notice their amazingly layered necklaces and beautiful drop earrings on their own merits. Artist Susan Domelsmith uses vintage materials to make one-of-a-kind necklaces and earrings that manage the clever trick of being both rock 'n roll and elegant all at once, and her work has managed to gain the attention of DJ Ellen Allien, Princess Superstar, Kate Hudson and even legends like Debbie Harry. I love the Abstract necklace with the leaf and stone charms; it's Domelsmith's subtly quirky detail and beautiful mixing of metal and materials that really makes her work much more than the usual bling.
