Spotted: Burnout Tee from Alternative (Apparel)

Spotted this weekend, on lots and lots of people everywhere we went: the subtly badass burnout tee at Alternative. Formerly known as Alternative Apparel, like a similarly named t-shirt company, Alternative makes t-shirts in a mind-boggling array of styles, cuts and color. And like the aforementioned similarly named company, Alternative are also known for their position against sweatshop labor and other exploitative practices in clothing manufacturing. (Unlike the similarly named company, though, we've never seen a quasi 70s-porno advert from Alternative.) And while we're not interested in pitting one against the other, for the sake of comparison we do note personally that Alternative's fits are looser, but the fabric has held up better throughout multiple washings. What can we say? We like a tough shirt, and we think you should know.

(We also love their Rondstadt tunic, and can't wait for it to be in stock...)
