Watching: The first season of Carnivale on DVD with my boyfriend (we're currently averaging at about three episodes per day); embarrassingly enough, a multitude of reality TV shows including but not limited to American Inventor, On The Lot, and the one where people impersonate celebrities Reading: Richard Dawkins' biting, incisive and often hilarious The God Delusion; hella tabloids; The What Claudia Wore blog (I hate myself for not thinking of this idea first! In April, I started doing an art project called "Claudia Kishi Fashion Week 07" wherein I attempted to costume myself a la Claudia for a week, but fell flat after a couple days because, well, there's just no competing with the real thing) Wearing: tie-dye; Soundgirl's madras short-alls- seriously the best thing I've ever owned; my trusty Dinosaurs t-shirt (I've been wearing it consistently for the past seventeen years); novelty Vans slip-ons- I've been feeling very Jeff Spicoli as of late Coveting: Built By Wendy baseball jacket in khaki; more members of The String Doll Gang (so far I have the Red Devil and the Witchy Woman; Thelma and Cave Bear are definitely next in line); tomorrow's trip to LaRonde (in celebration of my 22nd birthday!); many, many macrobiotic scones from Souen
