I want to move into the world of red lipstick, or lip stain, but where to start? What's a lovely brand and shade that isn't too garish and is a good starter for a lipstick virgin?

Which items of clothing, general or specific, would you reccomend for someone who is trying to build up a fall/winter wardrobe from scratch? I live in Arizona, though, where Winter is everyone else's fall.

I find it awfully tantalizing when Laura Jane says that such-and-such is [the/her][##][best/favorite][fill-in-the-blank] without revealing what ranks higher!
care to at least share your top five Beatles tunes? (though you seem like the type to rank their entire catalogue...!) or any other lists you'd like to share?
