I'd pretty much like Edun even if they weren't fair-trade and devoted to developing the textile industry in Africa. Aesthetically, I like their commitment to all things dark and drape-y, and everything's generally so nicely cut that I never have to "worry" -- everything I have by them is so soft and relaxed that it just mellows me out and lets me fixate on other things besides what I'm wearing. This shirt is kind of like a super-comfy fancy t-shirt. And it's on sale! Voila! I love you! (Kat)

There would only be one thing in the world better than my acquiring a pair of these sneakers, and that would be John Lennon coming back to life. Deductive reasoning indicates that the latter may very well be impossible (unless the process of cryonics is more efficient than I thought), so there I have it: these shoes are it for me. I'd take either pair, really, but the white ones are a rather exciting accidentally-avant-garde shape in addition to their being printed with pictures of the Beatles' faces, so they might have a slight advantage over the baby blues. In 1964, these sneaks cost $2.98; now they cost $3000 (Whoa inflation!). Baby, why am I not a rich man? (Laura)
