Imaginary Shopping Spree: Sally Jane Vintage, SPIRIT ANIMAL CHIC, Domino: The Book of Decorating
Sally Jane Vintage

My latest eBay obsession is Sally Jane Vintage, which is run by a Danzig-loving former N.E.E.T. Magazine cover girl named (duh) Sally Jane). [Ed. note: Just kidding; her name's Jennifer! So "duh" to me, I guess.] Her shop's full of really deee-lovely frocks and shoes and skirts and the such, but right now I want the above mini-dress, birdie sweater, and faux-fur jacket most of all. Oh and please check out the Sally Jane blog, which has lots of fabulous "What I'm Wearing" posts. And I so wish this were what I was wearing today, FYI. (Liz)
Animal-themed ANYTHING
After the Ultimate Fashion Challenge is complete, I think I am going to spend November through January vacillating between three major fashion concepts:
1) DORALEE RHODES TO THE MAX
2) Kind of more grown up so people will take me more seriously
3) SPIRIT ANIMAL CHIC/ALL ANIMALS, ALL THE TIME
Seen below are three prime examples of Concept #3 in action:

from left: super-pretty Lenora Dame pearl menagerie necklace from Anthropologie (which is totally sucking less than usual right now, FYI); this wardrobe staple-in-the-making little boys' St. Bernard shawl-collared sweater from J.Crew; and its girly equivalent, Sonia Rykiel's Rabbit Intarsia dress, available at good old net-a-porter.
A little heads-up for y'all: bunnies, St. Bernards, and elephants are totally the new deer, owls and wolves. (Laura Jane)
Domino: The Book of Decorating
Let's keep this simple. Domino is my favorite magazine in the world these days. It makes me happy to leaf through, makes me feel inspired about the possibilities of decorating and doesn't make me feel too poor to have a nice place to live. I like things that champion happiness and resourcefulness, and Domino often does that, $10,000 sofas aside. I love Domino so much that I tend to hold onto issues for ages, so I'm hoping that this book compiles the best of Domino into one little handy manual so I can recycle or give away my old issues of the magazine. Plus, the cover is really pretty and would look lovely on your bedside table. (Kat)

Say something so insightful and witty, it will blow us away. (No pressure.)
Got something to say? We'd love to hear it! Name, email and "type in the weirdo drunken text" thingie are all required to comment; don't worry, we won't email you or anything, we just want to make sure you're not an evil spambot. Keeping in mind the good-times mentality we like to keep going here, we've worked hard to keep NOGOODFORME.COM as fun as possible. We welcome all kinds of comments, but insults/abuse/general bitchery are not tolerated. In other words, we put the smackdown on evil troll posts. If you want to be a hater, please go elsewhere. Now, as Salt 'N Pepa say, "Only the sexy people..."

Actually, "Sally Jane's" real name is Jennifer Martin!
