Random Picture Entry: Blair's Purse Wall!
Despite my oft-referred-to affinity for scrappiness and across-the-board malarkey, I am a surprisingly tidy person. Howevs, my own approach to organization could best be described as "restrained chaos", or possibly, "an obvious manifestation of undiagnosed obsessive-compulsive disorder". The majority of my organizational tendencies rest along the lines of, say, reserving individual cubicles of a giant Ikea shelving unit for my collection of 30-odd Beatles books; I pay little attention to aesthetics or cuteness or Feng Shui or whatever-the-Helter-Skelter. I leave that shit to my outfit, bros.
As such, I was totally impressed, not to mention mad-cuted out when I first checked out my new L.A pal Blair's PURSE WALL. Are you serious?? Is Blair actually Martha Stewart? Oh, whatevski- Martha Stewart wishes she'd thought of this brilliant and adorable approach to sartorial systemization.
SOME REASONS WHY BLAIR'S PURSE WALL IS GENIUS:
1. Purses are hotter than paintings.
2. Having all your purses up on the wall makes choosing a purse for that day way easier- instead of digging through a big pile of them, you just have to stare straight ahead! I'm a big fan of staring straight ahead.
3. It's a cheap way to decorate; I mean, you have to pay for the purses, but you would've bought them anyway, right?
4. HELLA SPACE-SAVER
5. It communicates to everybody who walks into your apartment that you are cool and sweet and think about things.
Awesome job, Blair! Maybe you should be nogoodforme.com's new Home Decorating Editor?
