Imaginary Shopping Spree: Planet Blue, Princesse Tam Tam
PLANET BLUE
Yesterday afternoon I took a trip to Malibu Country Mart, which I've decided will now serve as the Neighborhood of Make-Believe to my own personal Fred Rogers. It's a magical land but just a trolley/car ride away, and instead of checking in on Lady Elaine Fairchilde and Henrietta Pussycat and that darling little tiger who lives in a clock, I'll visit the big-as-your-head cupcakes at Malibu Kitchen and all the pretty clothes that sadly just can't be mine at this moment in history. The prettiest of them all live at Planet Blue, whose sale section I just scoured for hours in a bout of happy self-torture. Here's a few of my favorite tops, left to right in the top row below: First Goodbye by Joie, Yaffa blouse by IRO, Flash top by Young Fabulous & Broke. And my most coveted dresses, left to right in the bottom row: Spaghetti crepe by Ramona Larue, Spaghetti dress by Francine, and Eton dress by Sheri Bodell.
By the way, I can't believe I'd forgotten how much I adore Henrietta Pussycat! I'm totally going to start talking like her from now on - like, you'll be all, "What's your favorite fashion blog, Liz?" and I'll respond, "MeowmeowNOGOODFORME.COMmeow!" and it'll be so much fun. Plus, Henrietta lives in a tree with an owl named X! So punk! (Liz)

PRINCESSE TAM TAM'S "PUDDING" LINGERIE SET
So, yes, as I've stated before, I've recently developed an interest in the wilder, more experimental shores of lingerie. The problem is that most things knickerish are unrelentingly cheesy and distinctly lacking in sartorial imagination, and I have no desire to look like a Vegas showgirl, a 1980s Playboy bunny, or a trussed-up Victorian orphan. (At least, not usually.) What I like about this set from Princesse Tam Tam is how kind of 60s-dapper and ingenue-ish it is -- it's got a lovely print, a beautiful cut and a bit of witty cheekiness that doesn't involve emblazoning your bottom with the word "HOT." Isn't that nice? I like a little dignity when it comes to my ass. (Kat)

Say something so insightful and witty, it will blow us away. (No pressure.)
Got something to say? We'd love to hear it! Name, email and "type in the weirdo drunken text" thingie are all required to comment; don't worry, we won't email you or anything, we just want to make sure you're not an evil spambot. Keeping in mind the good-times mentality we like to keep going here, we've worked hard to keep NOGOODFORME.COM as fun as possible. We welcome all kinds of comments, but insults/abuse/general bitchery are not tolerated. In other words, we put the smackdown on evil troll posts. If you want to be a hater, please go elsewhere. Now, as Salt 'N Pepa say, "Only the sexy people..."
