STOP THE PRESSES!: Liz's Perfect Day in L.A. (Courtesy of Tidepooler.com)
Last week I made a lotta headway in my move toward total media takeover: First, on Thursday night's 30 Rock, Tina Fey held in her hands a magazine containing words I wrote, which kind of made me explode a little. Then on Friday my pal Celeste published a story called "Liz's Perfect Day in Los Angeles" on her lovely blog Tidepooler. It's sort of a make-believe Saturday adventure through all my favorite places in my pretty city, and of course it involves swimming while eating cupcakes, buying wine at Laurel Canyon Country Store, drinking hemp ale in treehouses, pretending to be Bret Michaels, and ogling surfers in Venice Beach at dawn.
