Listening: The Walkmen x 10,103,053 to the 10th power.
Watching: He's Just Not That Into You (not that into it); Suspiria; The Bird People of China. I cannot believe that the dude who directed the ultra-violent Ichi the Killer and Visitor Q (i.e., the WEIRDEST FUCKING MOVIE EVER, like, the eeewwwwwiest film I've ever watched) also directed this really kind of lovely, profound, downright beautiful movie. It was so relatively mellow compared to the rest of Takashi Miike's work that it kind of blew my mind. Cineastes, help me out here! Discuss!
Reading: The Major Plays, Anton Chekhov. Also: fmylife.com. Completely ridiculous. I guarantee you something from my life will end up here one day.
Wearing: Plain old skinny J Brand jeans, a grey v-neck t-shirt from American Apparel (evil; I kind of never want to buy anything from them again), riding boots, Armani Exchange cropped pea coat. Back to old-school...

Watching: LOST, the Best Show In The World; Season 2 of Flight of the Conchords!; Singles for the first time: I'm really inspired by Bridget Fonda's style in it, and also by Jeremy Piven's brief appearance- Piv just can't help but steal the show!; I took myself out to a matinee of Coraline: it was merely okay.

Wearing: Hella new Thrift Scores that I'll post about soon, including a plaid knit beret and old lady moccasin-slippers; a really dope blonde hair/brown roots combo
Wanting: For that movie where Matthew Perry turns into Zac Efron to be in theaters TODAY; a Beastie Boys t-shirt; a hundred billion Diptique candles; summertime; nachos; New York; etc.

I have been on the biggest beret/hat tip! I just can't believe I found something I can wear on my head that doesn't look totally stupid. can't wait to see the thrift scores!!!!
