Snapshot: Listening, Watching, Reading, Wearing, Wanting
+ Liz
Listening: I'm almost over listening to "Deathbed Confession" by Chain and The Gang 97 times a day, which kind of makes me sad. Getting over being obsessed with a song is like falling out of love, except not at all. Now I'm listening 97 times a day to the song that plays in Point Break when Keanu Reeves catches a wave for the first time. It's called "I Will Not Fall," and it's by Wire Train.
Watching: I watched "Daisy of Love" for 12 minutes on the plane yesterday; it made me sad about at least three things in life.
Reading: Snow Angels by Stewart O'Nan, which I just discovered was "adapted for the screen" by David Gordon Green, so that's exciting.
Wearing: my sister's pajamas
Wanting: to summon the energy to walk a mile down the road and get a coffee at Dunkin Donuts. And an egg sandwich, but not from Dunkin Donuts. I also wish I didn't have to work today, so I could spend 2 or 3 hours at the Cambridge St. Salvation Army aka Sally's Boutique.
+ Laura Jane
Listening: This week's Kinks songs of choice: "Dead End Street," "Lavender Hill," "Denmark Street," "Autumn Almanac," and "See my Friends," especially "See my Friends."
Watching: Invincible, but I fell asleep during it. That time, I didn't dream about Tim Roth, but ever since, Tim Roth makes a cameo appearance in almost all of my dreams. I also watched the Beastie Boys on Jimmy Fallon. It made me happy, except for MCA, who is nightmare-ish, but not in a Tim Roth way.
Reading: I really like this blog Stray Cat Blues, especially the post she wrote about beards. Also, a "veritable slew" of new celebrity Twitters have popped up in my life: Mike Skinner's Twitter (highlights: "I'm in love with a piano," "i can't stop watching YouTube videos of old raves," and "roadies are often compensatorily clearly spoken. almost as a rebelion to their image amongst other professionals"), David Schwimmer's Twitter (sort of boring), and Chandler Bing Matthew Perry's Twitter ("Just found out that gym is short for gymnasium...so cool!")
Wearing: This week, I have been exploring the weird sartorial intersection between Laura Jane in Rishikesh and Haute 14-year-old Stoner Boy: Vetiver t-shirt, t-shirts over dresses, big floppy hat I found on the street, rolled-up jeans, bare feet, moccasins, knitted hat made by Vanessa of The Whispertown 2000. I should be nicknamed "The Slouchmeister."
Wanting: A dinner date with Ginnifer Goodwin at Caravan of Dreams; a pygmy jerboa
STUFF I WEAR THIS WEEK:

A PYGMY JERBOA:
RAYMOND DOUGLAS DAVIES:

Say something so insightful and witty, it will blow us away. (No pressure.)
Got something to say? We'd love to hear it! Name, email and "type in the weirdo drunken text" thingie are all required to comment; don't worry, we won't email you or anything, we just want to make sure you're not an evil spambot. Keeping in mind the good-times mentality we like to keep going here, we've worked hard to keep NOGOODFORME.COM as fun as possible. We welcome all kinds of comments, but insults/abuse/general bitchery are not tolerated. In other words, we put the smackdown on evil troll posts. If you want to be a hater, please go elsewhere. Now, as Salt 'N Pepa say, "Only the sexy people..."

Just so the Universe knows, "STUFF I WEAR THIS WEEK" is not a typo. It seemed like a really hilarious joke to me this morning, but now it just seems like a typo.
