We're Obsessed: My Parents Were Awesome

Lovely Anabela was the one to tell us about My Parents Were Awesome, a beautiful blog I spent a lotta time scrolling through last night while listening to "Hidaway" by Karen O and The Kids on repeat and drinking a owl-adorned bottle of Hitachino Nest ginger brew in tribute to Bob and Terry from Where The Wild Things Are. It was an exercise in melancholy for sure, but what better way to spend a Tuesday evening than to immerse yourself in sweet nostalgia? And now a message from Laura Jane...
In keeping with the mommy-lovin' sentiment of this entry, I'd like to take this opportunity to holler a deafening CONGRATULATIONS at my own Mommy, who yesterday was granted her PhD in Education! I am a very, very proud daughter. Also, I would like to state for the record that my Mother's new nickname is officially "Dr. My Mommy." Also: Happy Birthday, Elizabeth Barker's Mommy!
