Snapshot: Listening, Watching, Reading, Wearing, Wanting
+ Kat
Listening: I am singing every Christmas song known to man with my favorite toddler-monsters. The best music is your own!
Watching: OK, so I have basically NOT WORKED at all this week and it's been fantastic, so instead I watched movies. I saw Avatar in IMAX 3D (which was crazy and bombastic and awesome.) Now I want to see it in not-3D and see how it compares as an "experience," because seeing it in 3D was pretty amazing. I felt like I was watching a narrative carnival ride instead of a movie. I also watched Mulholland Drive (probs my favorite Lynch movie) and Strange Days (am I the only one really crossing my fingers hard for Kathryn Bigelow and an Oscar here?) and tons of "Buffy" and The Wizard of Oz and Don't Come Knocking (again).
Reading: In my newly declared holiday tradition of re-reading all my favorite childhood classics, I am finishing off the feminine utopia that is Little Women
Wearing: A black Uniqlo sweaterdress, Frye boots, skinny jeans...my travelling outfit
Wanting: Have a beautiful Merry Christmas/Hanukkah/soltice/Kwanzaa/winter holiday, my lovelies! Thank you all for reading and commenting and sending emails and Twitterings!
+ Liz
Listening: Christmas songs + Christmas songs! I'm simply having a wonderful Christmastime.
Watching: lately I'm into watching those old Weird Al "interviews," espesh the ones with Madonna and George Harrison
Reading: recipes for chocolate peanut butter balls
Wearing: clothes & my new asymmetrical heather-grey feathered cloche. My mom says I look like Michael Jackson.
Wanting: to start working "Everything's vibratin', dude!" into my everyday vernacular. (See vid below.)
Totally LOL-ed at least five times in the first two minutes. My fave's when Paul goes "HELLO!!!" in his scary monster voice.
+ Laura Jane
Listening: This morning it was like minus eight hundred billion degrees out, so I listened to the Beach Boys in an attempt to "summer things up", but it was a total farce, so I listened to Jan & Dean's cover of "Norwegian Wood" instead.
Watching: I haven't watched anything this week, so I'll just do another round of "Listening", which is: I listened to the new Fiery Furnaces album where they individually cover songs from their last album, and it made me LOL on the subway
Reading: I haven't read anything this week, but I ate several delicious Christmas cookies shaped like two snowflakes. with icing on top and jam in the middle.
Wearing: I don't even know anymore. I wear this navy blue skirt with little pictures of the Eiffel Tower on it like ten days an hour, and then most other days I wear Beatle boots, Miss Sixty Radio jeans, and a red shirt involving buttons. I think I've Snapshotted about that tendency before. I also wear a lot of headscarves, because my hair is SO BAD!!!
Wanting: The honest truth of this question is that I want to be writing a crazy novel in a haunted mansion in Savannah with long hair, a dog, and a cat. Everything I do, is for that. I wish you all a magical and relaxing holiday weekend, Gang.
I thought this said "Gobu Toobu" but it's actually "Oobu Joobu". "Gobu Toobu Paul McCartney Chic" is a really prevalent facial fashion concept of mine these days

Say something so insightful and witty, it will blow us away. (No pressure.)
Got something to say? We'd love to hear it! Name, email and "type in the weirdo drunken text" thingie are all required to comment; don't worry, we won't email you or anything, we just want to make sure you're not an evil spambot. Keeping in mind the good-times mentality we like to keep going here, we've worked hard to keep NOGOODFORME.COM as fun as possible. We welcome all kinds of comments, but insults/abuse/general bitchery are not tolerated. In other words, we put the smackdown on evil troll posts. If you want to be a hater, please go elsewhere. Now, as Salt 'N Pepa say, "Only the sexy people..."

I got a haircut and now I'm not Gobu Toobu McCartney Chic anymore!!! :( :( :(
